At DRC Drilling, our people make it happen!ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIESWith Surface and Underground projects in operation throughout the country, we have opportunities for both experienced and entry-level Driller Assistants to join our teams! All positions are full-time;Generous hourly rates; Rosters are 14/7 (7 days, 7 nights, 7 off); Company-paid flights are available from all major airports or drive in, drive out if you live nearby one of our projects; We are predominantly looking for Driller Assistants mainly based within NSW or SA, however, we will consider all eastern state applicants with the right experience; All accommodation and meals are paid for whilst on roster; On-the-job training is provided if you don't have experience and opportunities for progression are based on your attitude and performance! SO, WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING? Any candidates applying with recent/current experience as a Drillers Assistant will have an advantage, however, it's not essential; Candidates applying with a heavy machinery/labouring background will have an advantage; You will need to hold a current driver's licence and be able to drive a manual. Candidates applying with a HR Licence will have an advantage; You must be willing to work in a physically demanding environment (ie on the surface or underground); Be willing to work in remote areas for 14 days at a time and work 12-hour shifts; Have an understanding of the importance of safety procedures and be safety-focused in all tasks that you perform; Have a genuine interest in wanting a career within the mining industry and; Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and be readily available to start.
